About

Ned Dodington received a B.A. in Art History from Carleton College in 2003 and an M.Arch from Rice University in 2009. While at Rice, Ned devoted his graduate career to studying ecological design strategies and management with an eye towards the built environment. His work has been published inArchitectural Design MagazineBrkt Magazine, the Columbia University GSAP yearly student review, as well as Rice: Working 06-08, and All things Must Move. He has written for The Architectural League in New York, Manifold Magazine, and the Houstonist and maintains a well-respected blogAnimalArchitecture. His built work has been shown in Minnesota and Houston. Ned has been awarded both the Technos international traveling fellowship in 2002 and the Mitchel Travel Fellowship in 2006 and an RDA Houston Initiative Grant in 2010. He has studied in New York, Paris, Tokyo and Shanghai and is currently employed at PDR in Houston, Texas. In his off-hours Ned manages two small businesses devoted to fostering creative communities in Houston: the Caroline Collective LLC, and C2 Creative.
