The selected works are all studio projects conducted by students of Sean Lally’s at Rice University’s School of Architecture. The project, Solara, was completed more than a year ago while at Rice University and a version of it appears on this website. A pdf version of the article, which discusses architectural stategies for manipulating local environmental conditions can be found here. The full issue is available in most public libraries, and bookstores.

The collection, titled “Intensive Errands” is an incomplete catalog of EMD’s work to-date. The work, though begun without a clear thesis in-mind, over a four year period came to focus upon strategizing ecological systems towards a productive architectural end. Some of the work is small enough to carry with two hands, some as large as small island — all of it on-going.
